Looking to Hire Receptionist/Administrative Assistant on November 15, 2022

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
  2. Provide administrative support: preparation of all correspondence, minutes, flyers, brochures, individuals’ resumes, grant preparation, and other narrative data as requested. Duplicate, collate and distribute same.
  3. Prepare, maintain, monitor, coordinate, store and distribute accurate reports, calendars, lists, records and support materials pertaining to customer contract compliance and operations as required. Manage and prepare census and job support data on a monthly basis; prepare annual analysis. 
  4. Manage mailing list database; prepare and execute all mailings.
  5. Assist in providing software technical support to staff including computers, telephone system or computer hardware maintenance as needed or required.
  6. Layout, duplicate and distribute Family Connections newsletter.
  7. Attend and provide administrative support to the Family Leadership Series.
  8. Orientation of new staff to the organization’s office equipment and communication systems.
  9. Run miscellaneous errands.
  10. Manage financial transactions for supported individuals  in Job Paths & Check Community Living Financial Transaction Logs for compliance at minimum semi-annually to be completed by July 31st
  11. Provide administrative and event support to all organization fundraising.
  12. Provide administrative support to the Finance Office as requested or required.
  13. Ensure that office supplies kept in the mailroom are stocked in coordination with the Finance Office.
  14. Post, update and/or maintain organization social media platforms and website
  15. Receptionist duties: answer telephones, handle inquiries, receive visitors and deliveries, prepare outgoing mail, receive and distribute incoming mail (including faxes), manage and update mailboxes maintaining an adequate supply of forms, use and manage the telephone and voice mail system including extension and telephone list updates. Handle and monitor all functions of the fax and postal machine.
  16. Transportation liaison for program staff: disbursement of gas slips, keys, handle transportation changes through to ensure safety and comfort of recipients.
  17. Manage bulletin boards, monitor and update communication of the organization’s bulletin boards.
  18. Prepare room and refreshments for staff and other meetings as needed.
  19. Prepare room, refreshments and any additional requested items or support for the Regional Leadership Series.
  20. Stock and organize kitchen supplies.

Now Hiring Education Coach on

The Building Future Project of The Nemasket Group is looking to hire an education coach to support student(s) with developmental disabilities who are taking classes at Bristol Community College in Fall River. Position will start in late August 2022. Job duties include providing academic supports in college classes, helping with homework and supporting student to participate in campus activities.

Position is approximately 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Must be at least 20 years old and have a high school diploma. Enthusiasm and motivation is key.

Candidate should have a High School Diploma, related experience working with students with disabilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, energetic, self- starter who is familiar with a college environment. Very competitive pay rate.
