About the Role:
The Day Services Assistant Director plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality day services for individuals in our community-based programs. Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Daily Operations
- Act as the primary liaison between CBDS staff and the Director.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and monitor attendance.
- Provide on-the-floor support and address participant or staff concerns promptly.
- Oversee daily documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Coach, guide, and provide real-time feedback to staff.
- Model professional behavior and best practices.
- Support onboarding and identify training needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director.
- Share updates on staff performance, participant progress, and program challenges.
- Lead team huddles and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
Program Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure programming aligns with agency standards and participant goals.
- Monitor health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Review documentation and incident reports; assist with audits and corrective actions.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Address minor conflicts and support crisis intervention.
- Encourage staff morale and recognize achievements.
- Participate in leadership development and contribute to program enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in human services or related field preferred.

Pay: $23.00–$24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday (with on‑call availability as needed)
The Nemasket Group is committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by maintaining safe, well‑functioning, and welcoming environments across our programs, main office, and residential homes. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee building maintenance, safety, and the agency’s vehicle fleet.
Position Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for organizing, performing, and overseeing maintenance activities across multiple sites, including the main office and residential homes. This role manages facility service requests, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and seasonal upkeep. In addition, the Facilities Manager oversees the agency’s vehicle fleet, including training staff on proper use, coordinating repairs, and ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.
Essential Functions
Facilities Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee and perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for all agency locations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Identify and promptly report safety concerns, major repairs, or facility risks to agency leadership.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services or larger repairs.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; transport materials as needed.
- Ensure all facilities, grounds, and equipment meet safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service schedules.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to address after‑hours maintenance emergencies.
Fleet Management
- Oversee and manage The Nemasket Group’s vehicle fleet to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
- Coordinate routine and preventative vehicle maintenance, inspections, registrations, and repairs.
- Schedule and track service appointments, warranties, and required documentation.
- Train staff on proper vehicle use, safety protocols, and reporting procedures.
- Monitor vehicle condition reports and follow up on any concerns or incidents.
- Maintain fleet logs, mileage tracking, and maintenance records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, or property management; fleet experience a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
- Ability to safely use hand tools, maintenance equipment, and cleaning agents.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; able to respond quickly and work both independently and on a team.
- Ability to travel to multiple agency locations as part of daily responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement as applicable).
- Must pass a qualifying criminal background check.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional – Life Skills Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and will be committed to fostering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves providing hands-on direct support, teaching essential life skills, and promoting positive behaviors in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Provide individualized support to clients in developing daily living skills and achieving personal goals.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Facilitate social interactions and community involvement to enhance social skills and independence.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
- Drive clients to appointments or community activities as required, ensuring their safety during transportation.
- Complete and maintain all mandatory trainings and certifications.
Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in home & community care or caregiving is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while promoting a positive environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation duties.
- Must be available to work weekends.
