Job Title: Community-Based Day Services (CBDS) Team Lead

Reports to: CBDS Director
About the Role:
The CBDS Team Lead plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality day services for individuals in our community-based programs. This position provides daily oversight, staff support, and program coordination to maintain excellence in service delivery and compliance with agency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Daily Operations
- Act as the primary liaison between CBDS staff and the Director.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and monitor attendance.
- Provide on-the-floor support and address participant or staff concerns promptly.
- Oversee daily documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Coach, guide, and provide real-time feedback to staff.
- Model professional behavior and best practices.
- Support onboarding and identify training needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director.
- Share updates on staff performance, participant progress, and program challenges.
- Lead team huddles and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
Program Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure programming aligns with agency standards and participant goals.
- Monitor health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Review documentation and incident reports; assist with audits and corrective actions.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Address minor conflicts and support crisis intervention.
- Encourage staff morale and recognize achievements.
- Participate in leadership development and contribute to program enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in human services or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain compliance standards.
