Looking to Hire Caregiver for Residential Support

The Nemasket Group is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our individuals who may no longer be able to care for themselves. The ideal candidate would have experience providing full physical care including proper use of wheelchairs, hospital beds, lifts and other medical equipment as well as experience with following modified diets and medical protocols. This person must be able to care for individuals with dignity, patience, compassion and respect. Must be able to work weekends. CNA certification not required.

Additional Responsibilities and Duties: Provide Residential Services to individuals in the developmental disabilities field. Join a progressive organization providing personalized services/supports. Be a member of a team providing direct supports to adults with disabilities living in their own homes in the Greater New Bedford. Job duties include teaching people adult skills in their home and community and helping people to fill valued social roles. Looking to support adults on the weekends, during the week, and overnights. Flexible days & hours.
