Services – Community-Based Day Supports (CBDS)

About Community-Based Day Supports

CBDS at The Nemasket Group is about more than schedules—it’s about belonging. We partner with each person to build skills, confidence, and authentic community connections through volunteerism, wellness, creative arts, lifelong learning, and social opportunities that reflect real interests and goals.

In addition to our community-based activities, we offer a welcoming, home-like space where individuals can relax, explore personal interests, enjoy lunch with friends, or simply take a break on days when the weather keeps us indoors. Our space offers a warm, supportive environment people can use as needed throughout the day.

Grounded in Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

We anticipate needs and design proactive supports that promote success in the community. Guided by Social Role Valorization (SRV), we help people step into valued social roles—like volunteer, club member, learner, teammate—so community life is not only accessible, but truly welcoming.

At a glance

· Person-centered plans that grow with each person’s goals
