The Nemasket Group
The transition into becoming an adult is not an easy road to travel.
We recognize that students with disabilities have hopes and dreams for the future. We also understand that it requires thoughtful planning and commitment from all involved to ensure students have the same opportunities as their peers to start a career, further their education and to be active members of their own communities.
By working in partnership with school districts in southeastern Massachusetts, The Building Futures Project supports students 14-21 with developmental disabilities and autism to develop the skills needed to enter adulthood. By exposing students to a range of opportunities they can then draw on these experiences to begin defining what they want their future to look like.
Services we provide:
· Person centered planning
· Career exploration and job placement
· Community and life skills building
· Post-secondary education opportunities
Eligibility:
Ages 14-21, who have a developmental disability and/or autism and attending a public school district in southeastern Massachusetts
